Baby Einstein Refund: Disney Will Give Refund for Einstein Videos
In what may be seen as an odd move, Disney is launching a Baby Einstein refund where parents will get a refund for their Einstein videos and DVDs if thy feel their babies' IQ did not improve by watching the videos purchased between June 5th 2004 and September 5th 2009.
The videos are marketed to parents as educational infant products, but there has been reports that they are little more than fancy babysitters, and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children do not watch television or videos until at least the age of two anyway.
In order to stave off a class-action lawsuit for "unfair and deceptive practices," Disney has agreed to refund the original purchase price (up to $15.99) for up to four Baby Einstein DVDs per household.
Baby Einstein is an incredibly popular brand and features lots of music, colors, puppets and characters such as Elmo, Barney and the Teletubbies.
The DVD moneyback guarantee can be found on their site.
People can also exchange DVDs or videos for a book or music CD or for money off a Little Einstein product, which is for older children.
The group, Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood have declared this a victory.

Walt Disney has been flipping over in his grave ever since his "vision" of what makes up good family entertainment was convoluted by Disney CEO's after his death.
Poor guy, I hope his casket was big enough
