Bank of America, Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase are creating a service that would allow online and mobile customers to send money via text and email messages to fellow customers of the banks.Online and mobile customers of three major banks will be able to instantly zap funds from their accounts to other depositors at the banks under a program to be rolled out across the country over the coming year.

Isn't that really unsafe?I mean if all it takes for someont to send money from their bank account to another is a text message that's sent from your phone, in case your phone gets stolen, the thieves wouldn't just have your mobile but could also use your money in any way they want :-OI don't think I'd use that...Besides if you buy in a shop you can just use your bank card, anyway, if you need to transfer money to a friend or someone you know you can just use your online banking and if you need to pay on the internet there are way safer payment options like prepaid cards like paysafecard or similar...I don't really see where this option would come in handy, especially if you consider the severe safety issues I mentioned before...
