2011 Cyber Monday Deals: HDTVs, Computers, Games, Hotel Stays
The beauty of Cyber Monday is that the throngs of frenzied shoppers appear only as web traffic. Servers get slammed, not store employees. Cyber Monday is November 28, 2011, though some sales started early.
There's no risk of pepper spray: the only stinging in your eyes will be from staring at your computer screen as you scour the web for the best Cyber Monday deals. We'll give you a head start.
- Laptop Deal: Amazon is offering a 15.6" Toshiba Satellite notebook for $580.
- Travel Deals: Florida's Marriott resorts are offering holiday-season specials for Cyber Monday. Affinia Hotels is offering deals on stays in New York City, Chicago, and Washington. D.C.
- Video Game Deals: Best Buy is offering many console and PC game titles, as well as console accessories, at a discount for November 27 (Cyber Sunday?) and Cyber Monday. EA is offering hundreds of games at 50% off.
- Wal-Mart's Cyber Monday deals include HDTVs, digital cameras, laptops, and... dutch ovens.
Cyber Monday Coupon Codes

Apple on Cyber Monday
Apple has jumped on the Cyber Monday bandwagon, though its discounts tend to be minimal and announced at the last minute. Still, the few bucks you save on an iPad 2 could be put toward that dutch oven you had your eye on. MacMall (remember them during the pre-Apple Store days?) is having a pretty big sale on quite a few Apple products and accessories.
Still, Apple's pricing structure means razor-thin margins for third-party retailers, so don't expect PC-style savings.
