blob moon

yesterday, apparently, the moon was almost completely full (tonight is the full moon) and was as close to the earth in orbit as it will be for the next 100 years.

everyone i know including me gets a little crazy in the waxing moon, especially so close to fullness. but this phenomenon just amps it up even more.
