German carmaker BMW unveiled the new BMW 7 Series and BMW 3 Series models during the press conference at the Paris Motor Show 2008 on October 2. The new BMW 3 Series Sedan and the new BMW 3 Series Touring are now more powerful and more economical at the same time, boasting significantly improved fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The BMW Concept 7 Series ActiveHybrid provides extra drive power with its eight-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor integrated in the transmission. The BMW Concept X1 is the first sports activity vehicle in the premium compact segment, combining the functionalities of BMW X models with the advantages of a compact car.
