Earlier today, The Boeing 787 Dreamliner project released their expected first flight at the end of 2009 and the first delivery at the end of 2010. In total Boeing has delayed the Dreamliner six times making the production two and a half years behind schedule.
The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) today announced that the first flight of the 787 Dreamliner is expected by the end of 2009 and first delivery is expected to occur in the fourth quarter of 2010.
Management remains positive on future cash flows stating that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is not in the red. The latest delay was due micro imperfections in the fuselage section weakening structural integrity.
