British Airways Concorde

The Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde was one of the only two supersonic transports that operated commercially (The Russian Tupolev TU-144 was the other one - believed to be the product of Soviet industrial espionage program). It was an engineering marvel and utilized extremely unique design elements, such as using jet fuel as a heat-sink for the air conditioning systems.

I'd hate to imagine how much the fuel surcharge charge on this puppy would be in today's $100+ / barrel crude oil prices...
