vtmiller, I wasn't sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered. Please review What Makes News News.

This is just an ad for another website.

Hi Amy,

I agree in principle with your comments, and yes, I am involved with this company/product.   I guess I felt that posting innovative technology advancements on the world wide web - is worthy news.  After all I think TechCrunch has made a very good business out of publishing 'news' about companies, and innovative thinkers like us.

With this said, I'd be happy to withdraw the post if a few more people chime in on this matter.   My goal was to simply share information about a useful tool that active Internet users could take advantage of for free.

Perhaps, I may have overstepped my grounds and liberties to share news about something I'm involved with, but isn't that beauty of the web, social networking/commenting.  The very thing that makes this country/world great - allowing others to share their thoughts openly, or move on?   Besides... unless the users rank this post highly as a group, it will simply get buried and be forgotten.      That's why I personally love this site, and the web today - it's a self policing model that allows us to process information and move on with our lives - focusing on more possitive and meaningful things.

I have enjoyed contemplating your comments, and as a respectful marketer myself, agree in part with your thoughts; but as a marketer, boy was I disspointed that you didn't at least visit www.bubblecomment.com and dump this page's URL into the system - and really let me have it in your own voice!!

At least we have both taken time to contemplate each other's thoughts, opinions, and perhaps connected on some strange level.  BubbleComment is really about that - connecting with those you choose to share your thoughts with.  So in the end, I think we have both won something for nothing - and I will re-consider how, and why I post 'technology news' and information on open forums in the future.

Thanks,

Chris
