Burger King has announced plans to compete with McDonald's wildly successful McCafe coffee line by adding Starbucks' Seattle's Best Coffee to the menus of all of the chain's U.S. locations beginning this summer. More than 7,000 Burger King locations will begin to sell the Starbucks-owned Seattle's Best line.

The Seattle's Best Coffee line will include basic coffee, iced drinks with the customer's choice of plain, vanilla, or mocha flavors and toppings. The drinks, which will be sold all day, are suggested to be priced between $1.00 and $2.79; prices will ultimately be determined by franchise owners who control 90% of all Burger King locations.

John Schaufelberger, Burger King's senior vice president of global product marketing and innovation, admitted that breakfast is one of the company's "top strategic priorities."

"You should expect to see new and improved products from Burger King at breakfast," Schaufelberger said, "we'll be delivering a better cup of coffee."
