Like any major food chain, Burger King U.K. is looking for innovative ways to market. So, it raised eyebrows when it launched what it calls "the world's first guilt free showercam." The center of the new online marketing campaign is the "showercam" that captures women in bikini singing in the shower at 9:30 AM every morning. Burger King asks its customers to "watch [their] shower babe shake her bits to the hits at 9:30 am every morning." Every day, customers can vote to choose the song and outfit for the model to sing and wear the next day, but one has to be over 18 to even log into the website. The site asks for one's birth date to gain entry, so it is not exactly clear why the showercam is "guilt free" than. And, while Burger King is evidently trying to reach out to older male audiences with its new "showercam" campaign, it is still a little unclear what connection there is between breakfast sandwiches and singing girls in bikini.

But, the site does not stop there. Burger King offers their customers a chance to win a date with one of their "shower babes" by filling out a form telling organizers why they deserve a date with the "shower babe." I already feel sorry for Burger King marketers who will have to read through all the contest entries.
One seriously lucky person will get to share a couple of Breakfast Big Fillers and pancakes with our sizzling shower babe in the London Leicester Square Burger King® restaurant - you never know, it just might be the start of something beautiful (and she might even sing for you)!

I wonder if the site asks for contestant's marital status when setting up their customers on a date with their models. In the light of recent events around the alleged affairs of Tiger Woods, I would be careful setting up married men with shower models.
