If there was ever a sign of the times, this is it.
The cash-strapped state of California is holding a massive two-day garage sale to get rid of cars, computers, prison gear and anything else deemed surplus and beef up empty coffers in the process.Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger came up with the idea of the "Great California Garage Sale" after slashing the government car fleet by 15 per cent. He's since become the garage sale's biggest promoter, holding news conferences, discussing it in web chats and Tweeting about it to followers.
We've set up a SCAN below to track the conversation on Twitter.

During the Great Depression, wagon-loads of desperate, deprivation-weary people moved to the west coast in search of a living ..... Could the biggest bust since the Depression cause the West Coasters to turn East?

Yes, they've moved into Arizona, Colorado and Nevada progressively this past ten years, and are causing the same problems with their liberalism that they created in California.....and those states are now facing depressions and more and more homeless as a result.
Gotta love those liberals.....NOT!

We feel much the same about the race, religion and rifle crowd. Have anger issues much?
Not the America of the future and the sad baggage of our past

You are making this a partisan issue, when that is not my point at all. You seem to feel it is only what you define as "right wing extremists" that believe in the 2nd Amendment rights guaranteed in our Constitution for both property protection, and against governmental overstep.
And religion, like it or not, has a basis in our government and the Creator is mentioned quite a few times in most of our founding documents. Are you American? Since it appears you are unfamiliar with actually what our form of government actually is. And liberals in this country spread on both sides of the aisle....since a conservative is one who believes that the government our founders created was quite special....and that "unalienable" rights such as the right to bear arms, and also religious freedom ("of" and not "from") are fundamental to a free people.
So as I said, gotta love those liberals....Not! The ones that believe "socialism" is better than "Constitutionalism"

Are you American?
You ask the question because I disagree with you? That is sort of insulting. It is much like the statement that Obama as a constitutional lawyer doesn't get it either..now while that's possble, it is probably unliekly
God was to be separated from governance, that in an nutshell, was the whole point.
Do I think that there is a preponderance that gun nuts are right wing? Yes, empirical evidence would support that. However, I said preponderance.
I do however think it ironic, that the constitution is iron-bound and perfect..except on that odd occasion when it isn't, such s in relation to slavery
I do not believe any document absolute, but conditional. I do not think change should be made lightly but sometimes it is needed.
I do find, a correlation between the observant and the absolutists. They confuse the word of God that can never be changed in their world view, with the Constitution. The Constitution may well be wise, but it is a work of man.
I also dislike the word "Constitutionalism", it is akin to fundamentalist - it belies no room for context, and that scare me quite a lot.

Right, with California and its state government the major recipient now through Silicon Valley and their government contracts for the intelligence and telecom industries for both the war in Iraq and also the now domestic spying program? And after all that sales tax revenue after Michael Jackson's death from those people form out of state that were there for his several funerals and commemorative concerts?
And now the wildfires that most likely have been either state or federal governmentally set progressively in order to feed the State of California more taxpayer welfare than any other state in the entire country.
This guy is married to a Kennedy, alright. And also is a venture capitalist, and running California apparently as his own personal business venture. I wonder how much he has spent handing grants and special privileges to his buddy Donald Trump in the process....
Maybe the California Beverly Hills crowd could hold a benefit for the state as their next altruistic gesture. Since there "liberalism" is what has caused that state to continue, year after year, to lose more citizens than it gains.
What a scam artist Arnie is.....and the people of California whining about their "problems." Maybe if they also joined to get the borders closed also, some of those jobs that are now going to non-Americans for their government contractors could also go to Americans, and they have less needed for their non-American welfare programs also.
