Direct marketing really has got out of control.
The average person in the US receives nearly 11 pieces of junk mail each week, or 560 pieces a year. This amounts to 4.5 million tons of junk mail yearly, of which 44% goes straight to the landfill unopened and unread.

I have to agree with Roy here, the Carbon Food print of any thing has to be calculated on a per Capita bases.
It should be the junk mail carbon food print per person and compared to other Nations in the same manner in order to get an objective picture of the problem at hand.
We can still bring a total per country with in that, however we need some resonable assessment.
For the number taken from the post I posted earlier or rather last December concerning waist the US where leading the way followed by Canada and Japan when it comes to Plastic, Packaging and Paper waste. The EU was causing the least waist in the Industrialized world, however the least waste over all and Globally was produces in Africa.
Making North America per Capita the worth polluters Globally, followed by Japan, the EU, India and China.

So why are American's trying to say that poorer countries like India are responsible for global warming? They need to look in their own back yard from some answers.
