Will Google win this time as they conquer the battle of the OS?

It’s official. Google sets its gears in 2010 as they enter into another venture and that is the battle of operating systems via their own Chrome OS. As a start, Chrome was known as a web browser launched by Google last December of 2008. Since then, many assumed that the next move is for Google to release their very own OS. The assumptions are real as Chrome will run without the aid of Microsoft Windows and MacOS. This is possible as Google already made its own cell phone OS, the Android who know gain its followers slowly.

I said years ago, that if anyone would come up with an OS that could run better than Windows, do all the things we like that Windows does, without the giant footprint and Windows' infamous bugs, nags, and quirks, Windows would be history. Who knows...it may be that "Chrome OS" is just such a 'deliverer'.

takes someone with a google of dollars to take on billionaire Bill...everyone else that has tried over the years has been killed off...maybe they'll steal some core components from Microsoft...wouldn't that be justice...it'd be stupid too being Windows is crap...

I actually wouldn't mind something completely different. Give us something unique and intuitive, something out of the box.
