The Magicpad iPhone app did offer copy & paste. It was the first 3rd party application to do so, but due to the iPhone SDK, Proximi the manufacture were unable to make it throughout the iPhone OS, it was just limited to its own application.

Proximi has now made a giant leap & now proposed a new user interface for a system wide copy and paste feature in the iPhone OS.

Apple have stated that copy and pate is in the works by them, but they didn't see it has a high priority
