Crush Fetish: Rabbit-Killers Hunted by Angry Web Users
'Flesh Search' for Chinese Crush Fetish Video Perps
A series of Chinese "crush fetish" videos, depicting young women killing rabbits, have ignited the ire of China's web users. If you've never heard the term "flesh search", you'll hear it now.
Crush fetish videos (not limited to China) normally depict people stomping on stuffed animals or fruit: generally, anything that can be squished. Hovever, several videos which show actual rabbits getting killed have enraged the public, both in China and in the West, who have called for the real-life identities of the perpetrators to be exposed.
Note that we are not hosting any bunny-crushing videos on NP.
The term in China for this is "flesh search". The same thing happened with Mary Bale, who was caught on CCTV thowing a cat into a wheelie bin. So far, the anti-crush crusaders have apparently found that the videos are organized and financed by a group of fetishists, and that the young women who crushed the rabbits were hired for the task.
