Dieter Zetsche, CEO of Daimler: Involuntary Manslaughter INvestigation after Track Accident

The CEO of AG Daimler, Dieter Zetsche, is under investigation for involuntary manslaughter. The case stems from an accident at a test track, in which an engineer was killed by an intern who was driving a Daimler vehicle.

It's not clear why Dieter Zetsche himself is under investigation; even the senior prosecutor doesn't see how the case involves the Daimler CEO.

AG Daimler is most famous for its Mercedez-Benz brand, and also makes the Smart car. Daimler also owns luxury brand Maybach.
