David Kellermann, Freddie Mac's acting CFO, was found dead at his home in Fairfax, Virginia this morning, after an apparent suicide.

Kellermann was the acting Chief Financial Officer and senior vice-president of the embattled mortgage lender.

His wife found the body at their Virginia home early this morning. Kellermann was 41-years-old and had worked at Freddie Mac for over 16 years.

A top executive at Freddie Mac was found dead Wednesday morning from an apparent suicide, according to CBS affiliate WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C.

David Kellermann, the acting chief financial officer and senior vice president of the government-sponsored mortgage lender, was found dead in his home after his wife alerted Fairfax County Police to his suicide, authorities told WUSA.

David Kellermann, the acting chief financial officer of Freddie Mac was found dead Wednesday at his home in Virginia, according to Washington, D.C., television station WUSA. The report said that Kellermann's wife told local police that it was a suicide. Kellermann, whose age was listed in the report as 41, had worked at Freddie Mac for more than 16 years and was named acting CFO in September 2008

I'm glad you got this story out as well. I found about it in ABC News as Breaking News and wrote but again anyone can contribute so that we could have one article instead of many dealing with the same issue.
