Well Mel was put to sleep today as planned so it was a day requiring lots of cheering up and my roommate Lauren was willing to comply. We started by going to the Threadless store in Chicago and I got a couple of t-shirts which had been on my list of things to do, then we stopped at one of the combination Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robins that until now I had never fully appreciated, then went to a pet store to look at cute animals which made me both happy and sad at the same time. It was a nice day though despite everything.
