Tomorrow is A Day Without Cats on the Internet. see if you can make it 24 hours without searching for, creating or sending any sort of media or article pertaining to cats. This includes lolcats, big cats, kittens, zoo cams, motivational posters; anything cat-related at all.  Remember: no lolcats. A Day Without Cats. Got that?

You can't even type =^..^=

Urlesque came up with the idea (see below) based on Asylum's (admittedly-failed ) Day Without Megan Fox. Of course, if people get wise and try to over-cat the Internet, nobody will even notice. However, a day without cats... I wonder what that will look and feel like.

But whether you're a bona fide cat lady who loves it all, or someone who can't stand the over-population of cats on the interwebs, we can all agree that cats need a break.

For all you I Can Has Cheezburger junkies, there's always the "other animals" tab in the lolbuilder.

That means none of this on Sept 9... and certainly not this.

Just want to point out that not all corners of the Internet support this anti-cat silliness. We're not going to let Urlesque make "fetch" happen. So, tomorrow, if you're in need of cats, head to ShortFormBlog for the Catstravaganza. We're taking user submissions! :DRead more here:  bit.ly/sMnQR
