The Debtor’s Assistance Society is a non-profit resource for those people who find themselves in need of financial advice and education. The objects of the society are as follows: To provide credit education and debt counselling for individuals and families in need, including but not limited to instruction in financial literacy, debt management, debtors rights and information on the wise use of credit and money.

The society is relatively young and in its beginning stages, founded in May of 2008. The current directors are Murray K. Morrison, Sheryl Nickel, Kevin Sommi, Jay (David) Keevil, Aaron Morrison, and Christopher Beresford and they are committed to assisting those in need. As well, I have been invited to become a board member. The Society has been featured on David Ingram’s website "Around The World with David Ingram". For more information please contact the Society at 604-951-4357 or send an email to info@debtorsassistance.com.
