Hello to all of my Politisite and NowPublic Readers. I will be listing here the Digital Satellite down link frequencies for all the major networks who are covering the Democratic National Convention. You will not find this list anywhere else on the Web.
These feeds are Ku-Band (not big dish) in MPEG-2 DVB Format, 4:2:0, AKA Free-To-Air or FTA.
Most News Services keep this information secret, but many folks have inquired about the satellite feeds I mention in my Political and Breaking News Stories. These are Network and Raw Feeds. I will exclude any feed you can watch on television
My Equipment allows me to scan the sky and grab what is being transmitted down, so I do not need the networks to give me information. One of my units, tells me the satellite, Frequency, Symbol Rate (SR) and whether it is 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 etc. It also gives me the information uploaded to the satellite so I know who is up linking.
I will be updating the data all through the convention, so check back often. Today I will be updating every several hours, as I check one Satellite to the next. I will begin with:

Thanks Vinny. But I heard there were some Unidentified sightings last night at the convention. I have my satellite system scanning the sky now and will continue to update if there is a demand.

Will do! I did yesterday... a bunch of things walking the streets with scarfs over their faces so we wouldn't know their origins. I couldn't tell if they were greys. I did see some greens openly parading around though.
