Donna D'errico: 'Singled Out' for TSA Scan
Donna D'errico: Former Baywatch Star Singled out for TSA Porno-Scanner
The TSA full-body scanners have claimed their first mainstream celebrity victim: Donna D'errico, former Baywatch star and Playboy playmate.
When Donna D'errico asked why she was singled out for the "porno scan", out of all the passengers in the LAX security line, the TA agent allegedly told her, "Because you caught my eye, and they didn't."

According to D'errico, she was never told that she was getting the full-body scan, and so didn't have the option to opt out, though with a line like she was given, the creepy-factor would have been just as high.
So now there's a porno-scan of Donna D'Errico out there, even as the TSA says that these scans are not recorded.TSA spokesman Nico Melendez fell back on the familiar talking-point of the agent viewing the body-scan being in a separate room from the subject, as if that is relevant.
"After the search, I noticed that the male TSA agent who had pulled me out of line was smiling and whispering with two other TSA agents and glancing at me. I was outraged."
Donna D'errico, her son, and her boyfriend, Merv Griffin Entertainment president Roy Bank, were traveling to see her aunt, who was hospitalized in Pittsburgh.
"We were on our way to see Rhyan's aunt, who had just been put on life support in the ICU," D'Errico told AOL News in an exclusive interview. "My boyfriend and his business partner happened to be flying the same airline [American] on their way to New York for business. We got checked in and headed to security."

Not like we haven't seen it all before. She poses nude for a living. When a nun gets singled out, then I'll react with a little more compassion.

I think it's pretty obvious that TSA agents were singling out her because they wanted pictures of her body. Just because a person, many years ago posed for Playboy, it does not give anyone the right to exploit them for additional pictures without their consent. This is an abuse of power. I hope that if the pictures appear in circulation that prosecution against the TSA employees results. These scanners expose people to low level x-ray energy that is illegal for use in medicine, as all medical x-ray tubes pass the x-ray stream through a aluminum plate that absorbs the low level part of the beam that would be absorbed by the skin. The images indicate that skin absorption is happening, as little of the radiation passes through the body. This is an affront to public health. Cancer rates will increase as a result of use of these machines. I am particularly concerned with frequent travelers being exposed repeatedly. The luggage is not even checked this way so these machines in no way eliminate the risk of bombs on airplanes. These machines are just another way to intimidate the public and waste money for the profit of a few. We should protest these machines and the personal sexual assault that is used in their place. The woman haters that posted above should see a psychologist.

There's no need for scanners. Screening luggage and metal detectors are working just fine. There's no need to be exposed to radiation from the scanners and have nude images of yourself seen by TSA people. The old ways were working just fine. It's an invasion of privacy that has health risks as well.

Just our typical government employed perverts abusing their position. No one should be surprised. These new "powers" they have been handed are ripe for abuse. Nothing good will come from these screening "techniques." What next, DNA sampling? Biometrics? Bar codes in our skin? Where exactly does this all end?
