These are the old oil rigs near Azerbaijan's capital, Baku. They are now defunct and standing amidst a sea of old metal debris and oily puddles that glitter dangerously in the sun. One has to walk through quite some oil slick and mud to get to them, but while some of them are still moving, the oil production of these rigs has all but ended.
