The Spacebook, a large, heavier than ususal laptop with two screens, is hitting the markets this winter. The laptop is manufactured by Alaska-based company gScreen, and will likely weigh around 11 pounds (5kg).

The laptop will feature either 16- or 17-inch screens, layered on top of each other. It is predicted to cost approximately $3,000, and will come with Windows, Core 2 Duo processors, a 320GB hard drive, and 4GB of RAM. It will be on sale on Amazon in December.

The company's founder, Gordan Stewart, said they were aiming the portable computer at the growing number of office workers and designers who need a number of monitors to keep track of a multitude of applications at the same time.
