E R Dickerson Elementary School Career Fair Day

E R Dickerson Elementary School located at 4645 Bit and Spur Road Mobile Alabama 36608 hosted a career fair day for the Grades K2 age group on 10/05/12.

The school principal invited many agencies from local and the public service sector to come to the school fair day so as to educate and influence young minds to begin thinking of a career path they may want to pursue as an adult.

Mobile Fire Department Engine 22 and its crew was one of the many professions that showed up for the E R Dickerson Elementary School Career Fair Day.

The U.S. Postal Service, Mobile Police Department, Pitts and Sons Wrecker Service, Newman’s Ambulance Service, U.S.Army, Mobile County Animal Control, Terminix, Ashley’s Flower Shop & Gifts, and a local trucking company also showed up at the school for career fair day.

All the children that participated in the school career fair day seemed to be very attentive and acted like they were well disciplined.

The Career Fair Day started at 9:00am and ended around 11:45am with the last group of kids at the fire truck listening to Captain Browne discuss some basic things about the fire service.
