Internet giant eBay officially launched 'eBayGreenTeam.com' yesterday, which is a site dedicated to a single message of being green, and using sustainable and vintage goods.

“We want to push the envelope,” says Libby Reder, eBay’s Head of Environmental Initiatives, in regards to the mission of the Green Team. To inspire everyone to become “smarter, greener consumers.”

eBay itself always tries to be a green company, using LED lights and solar power at its main office in San Jose, and they want to pass on their experiences and expertise to others, while also bringing people together to talk about these matters themselves.
Let's see if it works.

Very cool. Nice to see eBay stepping up again with the environment.

Hopefully all companies will eventually go green, as people support those who do.

It's a great effort by eBay to encourage its users to be mindful of the Green efforts.

Green on auction?

I'll take two of those, thank you. What's the starting bid? ;)
