Some Facebook Comments are Being Indexed by Google, Meaning They Will Show Up in Search Results. What Does This Mean For the Average Facebook User?

Odds are, you don't go a day without using Facebook and Google. Well, now it appears that your Facebook comments may end up in Google searches.

Gawker reports that some Facebook comments are being indexed by Google, which means that what you say on Facebook could end up in Google searches. Google appears to only be indexing Facebook-powered comments that appear on other sites.

"Some privacy concerns" is to put it very mildly, as there is an ongoing issue in which, once your are logged out of Facebook, your cookies remain in your browser. This means that Facebook continues to track your web behavior even when you think it isn't doing so.
