Facebook has made a major change in facebook message system, its a re-architecture of chat and messages, but appears to have become available for some users over the last day.

The new featuring and redesign was announced in back August

The feature changes includes

• You can email to anybody on any email id.
• Attach file.
• Send your facebook photos to any email id.

The big changes include a side-by-side two-panel view, with a conversation list on the left and whatever message is in focus on the right, photo can be previewed directly. Keyboard shortcuts,  new threading and search system that makes it horrifically easy to reach back into the annals of your own Facebook messages, the oldest/historic conversation can also be easily seen.
