Will You Play FarmVille on Farmville.com or Facebook?

The incredibly popular FarmVille app for Facebook has launched its own site, Farmville.com. The new site adds support, FAQ pages and even forums where users can chat chat about their favorite farming practices.

FarmVille.com exploded onto the scene as a Facebook app in 2009, where it gained a million users in only four days. FarmVille is a real-time farming simulation that allows users to manage a virtual farm where they can plant and harvest crops, raise animals etc.

The game has roughly 83 million monthly users, more than all of Twitter!

Now, after many tweaks, and launching FarmVille.com, the virtual farming game has 31 million people play every day. Consider the fact that players also harvest an average of 100 plots per session, it's clear that farming hasn't been this hot since the invention of the tractor.

The new site allows users to play the game without having to go to the Facebook website. This can be beneficial for when Facebook is down, or if people are trying to play on computers that block social networking sites like Facebook (businesses and work offices have taken notice of FarmVille).

There have been reports that the game causes severe addiction in some users, with players becoming obsessed with managing their virtual farm. While this might be a startling idea to some, the creators of FarmVille couldn't be happier with the success of the little game that could.

We Love playing Farmville,creating your own little farm,and checking out all the other cool farms,helping our neighbors. It is beyond a doubt the best interactive game ever invented and we thank-you for the experience. Gotta go for now I think it's time for harvesting.

I play farmville on facebook and farmville.com. I have given my email numerous times, I also play petville and zoo world. I get no emails, get no special bonus, I can't even enlarge my farm. I can't tell the diffrence between face book or farmville.com. I can't send gifts or post 90% of the time. If I can't get farmville to work or enlarge the farm why do I want to play. Please tell me why I should?

i cannt get farmville to finish loading my dog ran away and my crops probally died. i cannt play and i have really enjoyed this game. its at a stand still what up thanks

I also had farmville die on me. It now says I'm restricted or it's unavailable. Great way to end a wonderfully fun game. Not happy at all.

I am working together with my husband to grow grapes for dyeing but just as I get to harvest my last lot my farmville will only load half way. tomorrow my crops will whither and we will have lost AGAIN is this your way of saying that you just can't win I think so.

I really love farmville, it has become a big part of me. Please fix the glitches you hve.. I am not able to get in for day at a time, and when I do get in, my peop;e are still loading and that has been for over two weeks now. I'm not able to visit others farms to help out, when i do it freeze. As of today i was not able to get in to plant any crops. PLEASE FIX PLEASE FIX..... I have cleaned out my cache, i have downloaded the flashplayer. what now??

will not let me be on farmville long enough to do any thing. does not matter wheather it is on facebook or farmville.com. I enjoy playing farmville but am unhappy with all the gliches.

Am vey disappointed that feeds are not available, not easy to get into each neighbours profile - look for stuff and then you are too late as someone has already taken them or the celebration is over. I am very disappointed with this major omission

I have the same trouble as the rest of these FarmVille fans , love the game but now I can't get FarmVille to do the chores or farm. I am retired and this is something that I liked to do It changed about a month ago. Please fix it.

I am still having a problem with Farmville the planting takes forever to harvest and plant like it has to think everytime you make a move on the game. Try to take care of the animals and same thing have to think then moves on then thinks then moves on. Like there is a pop up about to come up and nothing happens. The gift box gets too full and then you cant get anything out of it like it is stuck. Not very enjoyable anymore to play.
