Eighty percent of Americans have been affected by the economic crisis in the United States, and families not only have "money questions" as a result of the financial meltdown, families need to know what to do now.

"How will the economic crisis affect you when you don't even deal with Wall Street? If the crisis and credit freeze continues, will you lose your job? What do you do with your money now? Do you need to plan on working way past 65 years of age in order to survive? If times get tougher, what do you pay first and what do you ignore? "

Do you know where your money is and if it is safe? Along with top financial experts, Dr. Phil gives advice on protecting your assets and weathering a major money storm! Plus, your top seven money questions answered!

Joining Dr. Phil is economist and author of How to Ruin the United States of America, Ben Stein, personal finance expert and author of All Your Worth, Amelia Warren Tyagi, and joining the show via satellite from his Mad Money set in New York is Jim Cramer.

“We’re going to answer your top seven money questions,” Dr. Phil says. “You don’t have to wheel and deal with Wall Street to feel the trickle down effect on Main Street.”

Hi Barry! Thank you for reading, commenting and the Flag. You may not want to go to Dr. Phil for monetary advice, but perhaps Wall Street should!:) The economic crisis is not just about Wall Street, it is about all of us, and the majority of us are not "economic savvy". Consequently, the "ordinary" individual and family need to know, in easy to understand language, what to do and how to do it (now) to protect themselves from the economic meltdown. Thanks again!:)

That should be lively.  Fortunately, those of us who already are poor have no worries about such things.

Rhonda J Mangus, I like this story. Rhonda you keep NP alive by flagging many stories. Thanks. Every newmedia entity needs some spirits or souls like the "Wolfmanjack for Radio". We missed to develop quality writers; serving also low visit segments. Many newcomers we discouraged by a harsh newcommer comment ( do use highlight tool). An average person can not use this tool at the beginning. It is very time consuming too.

At the $700 bn bailout hightime, on my computer appeared several times a template of NP, sorry we have a bug, soon back, also my password was denied. For sure not so funny, it happens. In reality if you show bug templates, people believe you distribute bugs or viruses. Many blogs have been attacked during this time. anyone checked out if people during this time got a bug hit and stayed away ?

SOLARLIFE, your comments and compliments are always deeply appreciated. I thank you. I remember the "Wolfman":). I'm sorry that you think newcomers may have been discouraged by constructive suggestions, since I have made those suggestions myself. My own personal experience is that NP staff and members are more than willing to guide authors in any area they are experiencing difficulty (I am a perfect example for this:)). I'm sorry too that you have had the "sorry we have a bug"; I have not experienced this. I have experienced however, "password denied". It is always temporary though. Has the matter been presented/addressed in the forum? If not, you might want to facilitate a discussion on the matters. Thanks again!
