Game of Thrones Game Trailer: Take the Black
Game of Thrones: 'Behind the Wall' Game Trailer
The "Behind the Wall" trailer for Game of Thrones video game promises blood and gore intense violence, sexual content, and strong language. Okay, I'm listening...
The trailer features a voiceover from James Cosmo, who plays Jeor Mormont in the Game of Thrones series: you'll also notice Jeor's gnarly visage in the game itself. The "Behind the Wall" trailer follows Mors Westford, a ranger who took the Black... and who can also psychically control his dog. This game has actually been in development since before the series was conceived.
It would be cool if you could play as Melisandre, and just go around saying and doing freaky sh*t. Or as a Dire Wolf, viciously killing and eating as many people as possible. Clearly, though, the developers at Cyanide Studio have a diverging viewpoint on what makes a compelling game; I'll defer to them on this one. Come on, psychic dog control ain't bad (but Dire Wolf control would be better).
Check out the "Behind the Wall" game trailer below if you like stabbing, wearing, and glowering. Also check out the presentation from the design/development team, as they discuss their collaboration with A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin.
Game of Thrones (the game) will be released for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 this month.
