Gas prices have been dropping throughout the month of October, right up to election day yesterday. It will be interesting to watch if they stabilize or if they go back up after the election.
This was the most inexpensive gas price I encountered. It was in Northwest Central Texas - near the heart of the Texas oil industry.
$2.17 per gallon of regular unleaded.
Although I have seen prices near $2.40 for regular unleaded here in Olympia - and only a month or so ago, the same stores were selling the same grade at over $3.50...
That's a lot of price fluctuation over the period of one month.
