German brothels are defying the recession and trying to keep their business alive by offering a flat-rate to their customers, meaning they pay once, and can have sex with as many prostitutes as they like.

Based on the premise of 'all you can eat' restaurants, owners are resorting to these practices to save their business, but some are saying this is immoral. The rates can be as low as $130, but seems to be quite popular among owners who pay their workers a daily rate, regardless of how many customers there are.

Politicians are against the move however, and have vowed to fight it.

“This is an outrageous violation of human dignity,” Heribert Rech, the Baden-Württemberg interior minister, told The Times.

“So-called flat-rate sex is an immoral development which cannot be tolerated in our society.”
