The city dwellers and real estate experts have talked about Gilbert, Arizona about not buying low priced property as it should have, like their purchase of farmland in February in the year of 2009. According to the latest evaluation of the experts, the city paid much more than necessary when it bought the undeveloped property 2 years back.
The property experts are of the opinion that since there are a large number of bank foreclosures in Gilbert, the price of land should have gone down. The property market experts and residents of the city have criticized their officials for giving $300,000 per acre for the land. They were also blamed for not using appraisal services. In reply, officials debated that the buying price was within a tolerable range of the genuine market price.
