Here's few hints, how to recognize spam.
1) There is no personal information about you. Spam mails are sent to several people, so they cannot add personal detailes to it. Like here Nina says that "she" read my profile, but she does not mention any detail from it. Sometimes, if your email address is email@example.com, you may get email for pasi.hakkarainen.
2) They ask you to answer to different email address. Spam comes from false email, or like in this case, from a user profile, which is soon closed by the site admins.
3) They make promises, which no intelligent person would not make for unknown people. Like pictures, relatinship, marriage etc.
