Gnostic insights on God as an Alien Supercomputer

Pagan Gnostics implicitly suggest that "God", as presented in religion, is some sort of "Alien Supercomputer", reminiscent of entities depicted in Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
