Google Releases Top Search Terms of 2008
Are you a savvy enough web user to go directly to Facebook, or do you need to google "facebook login" in order to find your way there?
Or perhaps you're not even there yet, and you still need to google "Google". Then again, maybe that's just Canada.
Canadians are the ones who are also googling "Canada", you know, just to make sure they know where they are.
As the year comes to a close, it's time to look at the big events, memorable moments and emerging trends that captivated us in 2008. As it happens, studying the aggregation of the billions of search queries that people type into the Google search box gives us a glimpse into the zeitgeist — the spirit of the times. We've compiled some of the highlights from Google searches around the globe and hope you enjoy looking back as much as we do.Fastest Rising (Global)

I took this picture in the Apple Store in London over a year ago. At this time, wer-kennt-wen.de was a little bit smaller, then today. I'm so proud being part of this amazing team.

In Canada Britney Spears, The Green Party and Facebook made the top ten. But in my house I think the top searched item would be Pokemon, for hints on the games. Kids! They use google too!
