Google Version Of iTunes

There have been rumors of Google having discussions with record labels with the idea to open a music download service on the web and conceivably on Android OS phones via the Android Market Store. There have been some hints to this on their blog, but only related to a web based solution, not one related to mobile devices. While these rumors have been coming from unnamed sources, hiring of Elizabeth Moody, who is a music attorney helps to fuel the speculation.
