I attempted to make Garmin aware of the attached image but have yet to receive a reply from them after months of waiting. SAME OLD STORY - as to the Companies I've contacted about matters - NO RESPONSE!. The Model Shown was lost in a Taxi and so it doesn't know its location relative to myself - ha!. While in Thailand and returning to Bangkok I purchased a Garmin GPSmap60CSx because my old one had been discontinued - so told. In traveling to another Country I then discovered New Maps needed purchasing at extra cost which was to include more advertising!. Maybe its me but is the UNIT OF DISTANCE "metres" and not "meters"?. Its certainly not WORKING the same way as the OLD MODEL which ALWAYS gave where my hotel was WHEREAS this one seems to think my Hotel is behind me!. Recalibrating the Compass corrects in new localities BUT I never had to do that with the OLD ONE. Technology OFFERS ADVANCEMENT yet TRY TECHNOLOGY to CONTACT COMPANIES once you've PURCHASED GOODS and you WASTE YOUR TIME......
