Halo Reach Multiplayer Trailer [Video]
Halo Reach's multiplayer has been a big mystery to fans of the Halo series since the game was announced last year.
Halo Reach Beta Available Through Halo 3 ODST
Would it be a huge departure from the run and gun gameplay that made Halo famous? Or would it be more of the same with only superficial upgrades? The new Halo Reach multiplayer trailer released today goes a long way in giving players an idea of what to expect.

First of all, the most noticable changes have to be the inclusion of the jetpack and assassination kills. The jetpack is self-explanatory, giving players the option of temporary flight; something that will drastically change the way the game is played. The assassinations are all new animation-kills that occur when you sneak up behind an enemy for an instant kill.
Other changes seen briefly are all new abilities that take place of the equipment.
The biggest change comes in the removal of single-use equipment. In its place are what is called armor abilities. These can be used over and over and over again, with just a small recharge time needed between each activation. The one on display today was a Sprint mechanic that boosted the Spartan's speed for several seconds, perfect for the last push towards planting a flag or for clearing an open space quickly.
There are also new weapons and vehicles seen in the trailer, which you can watch below. Halo Reach Beta will be available to ODST players on May 3rd 2010.
