Orbiter simulator view of the International Space Station in July 2008 (STS-124). November 20, 2008 marks the 10th anniversary of the ISS (the first module, the Russian Zarya, was launched on Nov. 20, 1998). The anniversary takes place with the shuttle Endeavour docked with the ISS on STS-126, delivering and installing equipment to expand the ISS to support 6 permanent crew members (currently limited to 3).
