I now have 24,000 miles on my rocker that i bought new in march of 08 want to share with readers improvements and up grades and thoughts.1st if you plan on using this bike for long trips other than just a bar hopper i sugest you put the 2up seat from the fx model.This will give you plenty of back support that u will not get with the solo seat or even that little seat that folds out also when riding alone you can put a tee bag on.I do not run with a wind sheild so on the days i run 500 plus miles without that big back support you will be even more wore out trying not to get blowen off the back of the bike. I also built a custom rack that attaches to the back rest of the 2 up seat as their is not one made for it at this time that i know of I put a 60lbs tee bag sitting on it I built it from crome drum parts.Last year i removed the street legal cams that harley put in with the 103 kit they suck! I put in 625 t-man camms i had to clearance the heads to get them to fit but it did do bike good dyno tune i am now at 103ft of tor, and 90hp to the rear wheel i am very happy witht the new power.I could get more with my race tuner if i changed pipes but i went for looks over hp on that.also for looks i added custom spinning rims built from r c components added lue and white lights on front and rear rims also motor and pipes the reason for white you can not run with blue in most states but you can with white but a lot of that depends on the local cops just like the ape hangers that ticket cost me $187 to bolder cops comming out of vegas last laughlin river run.I put the switch blade foot pegs that fold out to a floor board from karayacan they suck nothing but problems they lock up and wont fold out karayacan was good about replacing them but it just sucks when u want to use them and your kicking at them going down the road.
