Hero of the Hudson: Online Game Simulates Crash Landing
Some guys made an online video game based on the US Airways Flight 1549 Hudson River landing. I remember a Zinedine Zidane head-butt game, too, but this seems somehow less tasteful.
After Highlighting the articles below, I had to give this online flash game a try.
The verdict: It sucks. I want those 10 seconds of my life back.
US Airways pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger's heroic splash landing into the River Hudson earlier this month saved dozens of lives and was heralded as a miracle.
Now a team of developers has created an online video game that lets users try their hand at his landing.
Links are quickly being spread on the Internet of "Hero on the Hudson" -- a game where you have to use your left and right arrow keys to land a jet onto the river.
The game is about as primitive as you can get, as many of the games are on Addictinggames.com. Of the 3,117 votes received, 75% give it a thumbs down. I'm not sure if it's because the game is lame or if it's in bad taste, or both.
I say both. Screenshots attached: draw your own conclusions.
