HootSuite Down April 21, 2011: Reddit, Foursquare Also Affected

Problems were reported with online products such as HootSuite, Reddit, Foursquare and Quora due. The problems reportedly stem from Amazon Web Services. The company claims that are working to resolve the problem.
The issues are also visible on Amazon’s AWS Service Health Dashboard. Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, Amazon Relational Database Service and Amazon Elastic Beanstalk also appear to be experiencing problems.
April 21, 2011 seems to be a bad day for the web. The popular gossip site TMZ appeared to have been hacked, with users redirected to a malware site.
Some are jokingly blaming the HootSuite problems on Skynet, the fictional computer system in the Terminator that reportedly became "self-aware."
