She pointed that she was in South Korea engaged in active duty and had no house to come back to, learn more:

The house of Army Captain Tania Garcia was foreclosed upon while she was serving overseas. She received the news while in South Korea. Her realtor gave her the information that her condo in South Orange had endured foreclosure. She had no house to come back to. At first she couldn’t believe it and went into a state of shock.

But worse was yet to come. Court documents showed that in an affidavit filed it was stated that Garcia was not engaged in active military duty. Her husband had been served the foreclosure notice. Garcia denied both points – she was engaged in active duty and she was not married. Today she is battling to get back her house that had been taken unjustly from her.
Garcia was victimized by the foreclosure system. In it the most important factor is the time consumed by the process from beginning to end said Jeff Kaufman of KEL Attorneys. The condo had in the beginning been purchased by Flagstar Bank and then sold again. But because of mistakes in notice serving, the legal firm of Kaufman succeeded in persuading a judge to void the sale.
