It's hard to argue against the fact that the January18 Wikipedia blackout is a noble endeavor. The web giant has gone black on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 to protest proposed SOPA legislation that could change the face of the internet. 

That being said, things still need to get done and facts need to be found out. After all, how are we supposed to write term papers or settle bar bets without Wikipedia?

How To Get Around the Wikipedia Blackout?

If you find that you can't live without Wikipedia even for a day, there seems to be a way to get around the Wikipedia blackout. Some have suggested an easy way to avoid the Wikipedia blackout.

In browsers like Firefox, it seems pretty easy. All you have to do is Google the Wiki page you want. After clicking the link, you hit the Esc button on your computer, which should prevent the Wikipedia blackout page from loading. You should be able to view the Wiki page as normal.
