I will try to write down some basic steps on how to accomplish this. We will go through a very easy technique, no hardware ( like TV tuner card) required at all. Just Follow these steps:

1. Download sopcast player from this link: http://www.sopcast.com/
2. Download P2P TV recorder from this link: http://www.pprecorder.com/

3. Then find some channel or website that is broadcasting the cricket match or TV show that you wish to record and play it using your sopcast...

4. Right click the video and you will get a url from properties e.g http://localhost:3020 or something...copy that URL.
