NP Rank:
I can haz lolcode?
This site cracked me up when I first saw it. Someone has decided to make a real, working computer language from lolcat-ese. Hundreds of would-be programmers have embraced the idea and are in the process of creating a working computer language from the lolcat lexicon: hai, srsly, kthxbye, etc.
It's been a while since I've coded anything, but it looks legit to me...there are loops, if then else statements, and even some attempts at compilers.
I especially like the rationale for the project:
"This is a love letter to very clever people who are slightly bored. I had no idea there were so many of us out there."
HAI! This site provides community documentation of the emergent LOLCODE language. It was the creator's original hope that the examples could grow in a way that is both internally consistent and suggest a real, feasible computing language.
HAI
CAN HAS STDIO?
VISIBLE "HAI WORLD!"
KTHXBYEWhat actually happened in a matter of days was a vibrant and enthusiastic community appeared, with scores of contributions, over a dozen implementations, and a lively forum for discussion. The language is evolving quickly into something real, supported on multiple platforms. (The previously-announced contest has closed. Stay tuned for results…)

I saw this while walking home from the grocery store in San Francisco, had to take a picture of it. I kinda want to call the number, but I'm assuming that its fake. Any takers?

Wonderful! Catcode! Does that mean that secret 'decater' rings will begin appearing in our cereal boxes?
