Germany has grounded air traffic in and out of Bremen and Hamburg airports in the north of the country, because of the spread of volcanic ash from an eruption in Iceland. The European air control agency, Eurocontrol has warned that parts of Denmark and southern Norway and Sweden could also be affected. According to the German Transport Ministry have taken a particularly though view of the dangers involved, accordingly airspace has northern Germany has been deemed too risky and Morning flights to and from the two big airports in the region stopped. Whether or not the ban should be extended to Berlin's two airports, is to be decided shortly.
