The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has created an event called the Internet Cat Video Film Festival, an event created by in an attempt to celebrate all the crazy and often hilarious things our cats do on a regular basis.

According to the Walker Art Center's blog, The Walker Art Center invites cat lovers (and challenge haters) to the Walker Open Field to openly release your cat-video-induced giggles and emotions that are otherwise muffled by computer screens and constrained by cubicles. Rejoice and be free like my favorite triumphant slow-motion kitten playing in the video below. Let’s transform this singular small screen viewing experience into a shared celebration with the larger-than-life projection of these silly clips out on the Open Field.

You can send in your submissions and nominations through the Walker Art Center Google Docs submission form. Deadline for submission is July 30th, 2012. Go to your favorite cat video, copy the web address (URL) on that page and paste it into the field below. Feel free to nominate more than one video if you can't pick a favorite.
